About The Role

The Principal Healthcare Architect at Studio+ serves as the technical design leader for healthcare projects, providing specialized expertise and architectural leadership. They embody Studio+’s mission while focusing on Healthcare Team Leadership, Healthcare Design & Technical Leadership, and Healthcare Excellence & Innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the internal architectural team on healthcare projects
  • Instill confidence in clients when running design meetings
  • Collaborate with healthcare planners, medical equipment specialists, and consultants
  • Drive Studio+ DNA among healthcare project teams
  • Support excellent client service through technical expertise
  • Serve as the technical architectural leader for healthcare projects
  • Lead design process from concept through construction documentation
  • Ensure designs comply with healthcare codes and regulations
  • Conduct space programming studies to optimize healthcare facility layouts
  • Run effective client and user group design meetings
  • Translate client needs into functional healthcare solutions
  • Produce high-quality construction documents with minimal errors
  • Stay current with healthcare design trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Engage in post-occupancy evaluations to improve future designs
  • Develop standardized processes to ensure consistent quality
  • Create exceptional healthcare environments
  • Document and share lessons learned
  • Participate in healthcare industry organizations
