Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist to join our treatment team. The Therapist will be responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy services to clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

The ideal candidate will be a registered intern with a master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field, and will bring prior experience in behavioral health treatment. Experience in an outpatient or PHP/IOP setting is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with clients.
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational requirements.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Communicate with families and referral sources regarding client progress when appropriate.
  • Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and clinical supervision.
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education relevant to dual-diagnosis treatment.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Registered intern status (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT track, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in behavioral health treatment required.
  • Outpatient or PHP/IOP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong skills in group facilitation, individual counseling, and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
