Network Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Wireless Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise-grade wireless and wired network environments. You will play a critical part in maintaining a robust, high-availability network that supports our organization's evolving connectivity needs, specifically focusing on location services and high-fidelity site surveys.

• Design & Deployment:
  Lead the architecture and installation of enterprise wireless solutions, including controllers, access points, and management platforms.
• Network Optimization:
  Monitor network performance and perform advanced troubleshooting to resolve complex connectivity issues across wireless and wired infrastructures.
• Location Services & Analytics:
  Deploy and manage Cisco Spaces to leverage network data for location tracking, way finding, and environmental monitoring.
• Site Surveying:
  Utilize the Ekahau Measurement Device (Sidekick) to perform professional-grade RF site surveys, validation, and spectrum analysis to ensure optimal coverage and capacity.
• Next-Gen Platforms:
  Utilize modern network management tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center to automate workflows and enhance network visibility.
• Security & Compliance:
  Implement and maintain industry-standard security protocols to protect the integrity of the wireless network.

• Education & Experience:
  
  Required:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred:
  An Associate's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related networking discipline.
  
  Experience:
  
  A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network wireless engineering.
• Certifications:
  
  Required:
  
  Must hold a current CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or ACE-A (Arista Cloud Engineer Associate) certification, or a verifiable equivalent
• Technical Skills & Expertise:
  Strong proficiency in configuring and managing Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC). Hands-on experience with Ekahau software and hardware for survey and validation. Familiarity with Cisco Spaces (formerly DNA Spaces) for IoT and location-based services. Experience with Cisco DNA / Catalyst Center is highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of 802.11 standards and RF site survey methodologies.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Myers, FL.

The pay range for this position is $83,200.00 - $/yr. Will send during submittal process

This is a fully onsite position in Fort Myers, FL.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 13, 2026.
