Shipping Team Lead

Shift

Monday‑Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm. Starting pay: $23.50 per hour.

• Lead and support each team member’s adherence to safe work practices and the company’s safety policies as well as all quality practices and initiatives.
• Coordinate the staging, sequencing, and loading of finished products for customer deliveries and route departures.
• Assign work priorities and provide guidance to team members to meet operational goals.
• Monitor workflow and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Train, coach, and develop team members on procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
• Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment.
• Ensure accurate inbound receiving, inventory transactions, and product movement throughout the facility.
• Conduct quality checks and verify product accuracy prior to shipment.
• Utilize RF scanners, AS400, and other warehouse systems to maintain inventory accuracy and shipping documentation.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, inventory issues, and operational challenges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and warehouse leadership to support customer delivery requirements.
• Communicate performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members.
• Assist with performance monitoring, attendance tracking, and shift handoff communications.

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations and policies in accordance with company guidelines.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments and customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours depending upon the needs of the department.

• Constant standing up to 12 hours per day.
• Frequent walking, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching overhead, and repetitive hand/foot/head/neck movements.
• Occasional pushing/pulling and lifting, moving or carrying up to 90lbs.
• Steel‑toe safety shoes and ear and eye protection required at all times in all plants.
