Job Summary:
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Work collaboratively within a high-functioning team in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Ensure accurate documentation, timely communication, and adherence to procedural standards
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling, including rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities
• Deliver consistent care aligned with the facility’s expectations and cultural values
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care during endoscopy procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and administer sedation as needed during procedures
• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures and assist physicians throughout the process
• Manage recovery and post-procedure care for patients
• Maintain and operate specialized endoscopic equipment
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols
• Accurately chart patient data in Epic EMR system
• Take scheduled on-call shifts, including weekends, and be able to report within 30 minutes
• Float to other units or sister campuses as needed
• Follow facility policies, participate in team communication, and function as core staff
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (Radius Rule)
• Must be able to float to other units or campuses
• All RTO and schedule requests must be submitted with the initial application
• Must be able to function as part of the core team, maintaining cultural fit and collaboration
• Degree must be accredited and listed on profile OR candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Epic EMR
Additional Details:
• Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday with a floating weekday off
• On-call required, including weekends—must be within 30 minutes of the hospital when on call
• HWL prescreen interview followed by a final interview with the manager
• Submission must include full demographic details: address, email, full DOB, full SSN, and RN license number
• No exceptions for pending documentation; all required documents are due the Monday before the start date
