Location: Fort Myers, FL
Shift: Part-Time – Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $41/hour
Position SummaryAmbassador Healthcare at College Park is seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time RN Supervisor to lead our weekend nursing team. This role is ideal for an RN who thrives in leadership, ensures high-quality resident care, and maintains compliance with all nursing standards. You will play a key role in weekend operations and supporting positive resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director and Associate Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring compliance with policies and high standards of care.
- Participate in surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Develop and update individualized resident care plans.
- Evaluate and coach LPNs and CNAs; support disciplinary actions as needed.
- Communicate resident concerns with physicians, families, and administrative staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing and manage shift transitions.
- Conduct rounds to monitor resident care quality and staff performance.
- Respond to and investigate incidents or grievances; ensure timely documentation.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and treatment oversight.
- Complete MDS documentation and collaborate with MDS staff.
- Maintain emergency preparedness, accurate narcotic counts, and up-to-date records.
- Monitor new and re‑admitted residents to prevent re‑hospitalizations.
- Support discharge planning in coordination with social services and medical staff.
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing home experience.
- Strong leadership, clinical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
