Travel Registered Nurse - Neuro PCU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour Day shift, 12x3 rotation

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Neuro PCU for a 52-bed unit, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1. The ideal candidate must have a background in neuro nursing and the ability to read EKG rhythms. This role requires BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro PCU.
• Float between both sides of the Neuro Floor, including the step-down and PCU units.
• Handle patient ratios of 1:4-5, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in Neuro care.
• Active RN license with degree accreditation required (or 5 years of experience).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
