Neuro PCU Nurse - 12hr Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, 12x3 rotation.

Job Description

Join a 52-bed Neuro PCU unit where you will provide high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions. This role requires the ability to float to both stepdown and PCU side of the Neuro Floor as needed and handle patient ratios of 1:4-5.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Neuro PCU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including reading EKG rhythms.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Fulfill floating requirements to various units as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on Neuro care.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to read EKG rhythms.
• Degree accreditation or 5 years of related experience required.
