Job Description
PCU Float Registered Nurse - Night Shift

12-hour night shifts, 12x3 schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible PCU Float Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience and will float to sister campuses as needed. The nurse will be caring for adult and geriatric populations with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4-6:1, depending on patient mix. Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS is required.

Experience with Epic EMR is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU.
• Adapt to various units and campus locations as required.
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Florida or Compact nursing license is required.
• Degree accreditation must be included in the profile or 5 years of nursing experience.
