Travel RN - GI​/Endoscopy

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience, prior travel experience, and on-call availability including weekends.

Job Details

• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 4 shifts per week,

• On-call required, including weekends,

• Candidates must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call,

• Hospital-based endoscopy unit,

• EMR:
Epic,

• Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the main facility,

Job Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS,

• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience required,

• Prior travel nursing experience required,

• Nursing degree from an accredited program required, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

• Candidate's driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing,

• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment,

• Full DOB, SSN, and RN license number required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must be present at the facility in person for badge/,

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff members and integrate into the unit culture,

• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved after that point,

• Block scheduling requests are not accepted,

• Interviews include a prescreen interview followed by a final interview with the manager
