Travel RN - GI​/Endoscopy

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring prior travel experience and a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy-specific experience.

Job Details

• Hospital endoscopy unit setting,

• 10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM, four shifts per week,

• On-call required, including weekends and possible holidays,

• Candidates must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call,

• Epic EMR in use,

• Floating is required; travelers are first to float, with possible float to sister campuses,

Job Requirements

• Active FL RN license or a compact RN license required,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS,

• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy RN experience required,

• Prior travel nursing experience required,

• Nursing degree from an accredited program required, or a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in lieu of accreditation documentation,

• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing,

• Full date of birth, SSN, and RN license number required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; this rule is strictly enforced,

• Candidates must not own or co-sign on any property within the 50-mile radius,

• Block scheduling requests are not accepted,

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO will not be approved after submission,

• Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must complete remote orientation and visit the facility in person for badge/,

• Sister campuses are all within approximately 15-20 minutes of the primary facility,

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into the unit culture,

• A hiring manager interview is part of the selection process
