Travel RN - Pediatric PACU

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric PACU position at a children's hospital in SW Florida, requiring 2 years of experience, pediatric experience, and on-call availability.

Job Details

• Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting within a children's hospital,

• 10-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 4 shifts per week,

• On-call is required for this position,

• Floating is required; travelers are the first to float, including to sister campuses located approximately 15-20 minutes away,

Job Requirements

• Active FL RN license or Compact RN license required; DL address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Pediatric nursing experience required,

• Degree from an accredited nursing program required, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of accreditation,

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• Candidate's full DOB, SSN, RN license number, and current address are required for consideration,

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff members; cultural fit and team-player attitude are highly valued,

• Orientation begins on a Friday and includes remote orientation components; candidates must be present at the facility on that Friday for badging/,

• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront, as it will not be approved after the offer is made,

• Block scheduling requests are not accepted,

• Degree accreditation verification (ACEN, CNEA, CCNE, or FL Dept. of Health) is required for RN candidates
