Lee Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg for a nursing job in Fort Myers, Florida.

Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Performs responsibilities in five areas: clinician, teacher, researcher, leadership, and professional development. Directs and coordinates nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achieve desired outcomes.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required;
  Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Experience required. Must successfully complete the competency assessment.
• Certification:
  Proof of American Heart Association BLS, current for at least 90 days after hire date.
• License:
  Licensed in the State of Florida.
• Skills:
  
  Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer proficiency, and customer service experience.
