Full Time (72 hours bi-weekly)
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Weekend and Holiday Rotations)
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $22.34 - $29.04 / hour
Hiring incentive up to $5,000 for qualifying applicants
Relocation incentive up to $5,000 for qualifying applicants
Patient population:
Adult/21 years+ to Geriatric
Examples of conditions treated:
Joint Surgery, Heart Surgery, Stroke, COPD, etc.
Average length of stay:
Approximately 14 days
Performs and documents selected acts such as the administration of treatments and medications in delivery of patient care under the guidance and discretion of the registered nurse. Assist the RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to established policies. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited vocational school of nursing.
Experience:
At least one year required, one year preferred recent experience in a similar acute care setting. Must be able to float throughout the HPCC. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment. Experience requirements may vary by department. Certifications:
0-hour IV Course required. BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required.

License:
Currently licensed LPN licensure in the State of Florida.
Other:
Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
