Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a new graduate or experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida.

• State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
• The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year
• Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service
• Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs

• Provide attending coverage at our Level-III NICU
• All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
• In‑house call and 24‑hour NNP coverage
• Level‑I coverage includes well‑baby care and back‑up coverage from home

• Candidates must be NNP Board‑Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
• Not accepting new graduate candidates – 2+ years’ experience as NNP required
• Not accepting Locums candidates
• Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates

• NNPs do 12‑hour shifts, with an option for 24‑hour shifts based on experience level
• NNPs work 156 hours a month (1872 hours a year)
  This is a permanent position and we are not seeking a commuter or someone who wants block schedules
• This is a permanent, full‑time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
