Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$30.27 - $40.86 / hour

The Gulf Coast Medical Center Skilled Nursing Unit is a 75 private-bed, private bath with showers, unit rehabilitation facility on Plantation Road near Gulf Coast Medical Center.

Our Skilled Nursing Unit introduces a new model for rehabilitative care that allows for seamless patient transitions.

We also provide the amenities, services, and comfort that foster fulfilling relationships with patients.

Each room is private, and each floor has its own dining area.

Whether recovering from joint surgery, a stroke, heart surgery or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or any other medical condition, our goal is to assist you with rehabilitation and prepare you to return to the community as quickly as possible.

Responsible for ensuring all appropriate nursing care and therapy services are delivered to maximize quality care and reimbursement.

Reviews and coordinates reimbursement for Medicare and Managed Care patients.

Ensures accuracy of all MDS, CAAs/HIPPS and care plans for all Medicare and non-Medicare residents.

Will ensure timely completion and transmission of all MDS according to state and CMS regulation. Coordinates the updating of care plans as needed to reflect the level of care being delivered to the resident.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. (RN)

Experience: One (1) - Two (2) years of MDS experience preferred. PPS/HIPPS management experience preferred. Qualified individuals must successfully complete the competency assessment.

Certification: RAC-CT preferred.

License: Current license or eligible for RN licensure in the State of Florida

Other: Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
