LDRP Registered Nurse; Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum

A leading hospital in Fort Myers is seeking an experienced LDRP Registered Nurse to join a collaborative maternal care team. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive nursing care throughout every stage of the childbirth experience while making a meaningful impact on patients and their families.

The LDRP RN delivers skilled nursing care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum services. This role involves caring for mothers and newborns, monitoring patient progress, supporting families through the birthing process, and working closely with the healthcare team to ensure safe and positive outcomes.

• Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages.
• Perform fetal monitoring and assess maternal and newborn health status.
• Manage and support patients during labor and delivery.
• Deliver newborn care and monitor infant well-being.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate individualized care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-focused environment.

• Minimum of 1 year of LDRP or related specialty nursing experience.
• Experience must have been obtained within the last 2 years.
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical‑thinking skills.
