Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse; L&D RN

A respected hospital in Fort Myers is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a dedicated maternity care team. This opportunity is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about supporting patients throughout the childbirth journey and delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The Labor & Delivery RN is responsible for providing compassionate, patient-centered care throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. This role involves closely monitoring both maternal and fetal well-being, assisting during the birthing process, and working collaboratively with physicians and the broader obstetric team to promote positive outcomes for patients and newborns.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
• Support patients and families with education, guidance, and emotional care throughout the childbirth experience.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and patient-focused environment.

• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• Recent Labor & Delivery experience within the past 2 years required.
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills.
