Large managed care company is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care treatment. This is a per-diem, short-term contract position.

PAY: $63.50
CONTRACT DATES: 8/10/26 - 12/31/26
HOURS: This position is for per diem coverage only, and hours may fluctuate depending on health center needs. The health center is open Monday/Wednesday 7a-5p and Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 7a-3:30p
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Primary Care treatment in a Workplace-based setting
Episodic care (low acuity Urgent Care)
Extended Episodic Acute Care which can include 4-5 visits for an illness or injury that is limited in its chronicity
Ability to oversee and perform CLIA waived tests, dispense Rx medications, and oversee a specimen collection lab
- Ability to see pediatric patients ages 2+ for acute care visits and sports physicals
Collaboration with onsite employees to provide biometric screening and health and wellness education
Direct one on one health coaching to employees along with referring patients into wellness programs

- Graduate of Certified NP program
- Active and unrestricted autonomous NP license in Florida
- Florida Dispensing License
- DEA licensure and prescriptive authority and ability to maintain
- BLS certification and ability to maintain current certification
Minimum of 2 or more years of NP experience, working independently in an internal medicine or family practice setting
Strong primary care experience including women’s health
Chronic Disease Management experience is preferred
Electronic Health Record experience; EPIC experience is a plus
