About the Role

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our internal medicine practice in Fort Myers, FL.

This role provides an opportunity to build strong patient relationships while delivering comprehensive care to an adult patient population. The ideal candidate is a confident, compassionate clinician who enjoys working collaboratively and taking an active role in patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions commonly seen in adult patients.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
  • Manage chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other common medical conditions.
  • Provide preventive care, including immunizations, health screenings, and patient education.
  • Order, review, and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing.
  • Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Conduct appropriate follow-up with patients and manage ongoing care needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice workflow improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, regulatory, and ethical standards.
