Retail Sales Associate at Curaleaf, you’ll be the face of our brand and the go-to expert for our customers, helping them explore our cannabis products and delivering top-tier service with every interaction.

You’ll work to create a welcoming, informative, inclusive, and engaging experience, helping guests explore our products and find the right fit for their needs. If you’re passionate about cannabis, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, this role is for you.

• Customer Experience & Teamwork — Greet and assist guests in a warm, professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience; build genuine connections, ask thoughtful questions, and offer personalized product advice; address concerns professionally and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction; encourage loyalty by signing guests up for rewards programs; work with your team to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and upbeat atmosphere.
• Operations & Store Standards — Open/close the store, handle cash, follow procedures and regulations; check IDs, update customer profiles, and process transactions accurately; keep the store clean, organized, and stocked; support inventory tasks and fulfill online orders; consistently meet daily sales goals by upselling and leveraging product knowledge; highlight deals and complementary items at checkout; stay informed on promotions and product updates;
  
  stay agile in a fast-paced environment; take on extra duties as needed to support team and store success.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing or sales role, with a strong focus on service and satisfaction.
• Minimum 6 months of experience using POS systems and handling cash accurately.
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with customers and team members.
• Strong multitasking abilities and the agility to shift priorities as needed.
• Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new tools to support daily operations and customer engagement.
• Solid time management and organizational skills.
• Effective de-escalation techniques and a calm, solution-oriented approach to handling customer concerns.
• Basic proficiency in math and computer applications to support transactions and reporting.
• Positive, proactive mindset for resolving issues and delivering a great guest experience.
• Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Initiative and a team-first attitude, with readiness to support store leadership and contribute to success.
• Ability to build rapport and sustain lasting customer relationships; collaborative spirit and team-oriented mindset.

• Background in sales with KPI tracking and meeting sales targets.
• Familiarity with e-commerce systems and order fulfillment processes.
• Experience in a regulated retail setting.
