Position Summary

The LTL Account Management Associate is responsible for assisting accounts with their LTL (Less than truckload) needs through quoting, assigning, tracking, and appointing orders. While also maintaining customer relationships within the commerce of commodity and transportation.

Primary Responsibilities

The LTL Account Management Associate is responsible for the following duties, responsibilities, and tasks that are included but not limited to:

• Managing logistics processes
• Consulting with Logistics Account Managers regularly to provide customer support and resolve problems.
• Planning based off market conditions, customer needs, and workload.
• Conducting business development activities through identifying prospective customers, following leads, customer maintenance and carrier maintenance
• Invoicing purchase orders
• Performing administrative duties, such as preparing and budgeting sales goal reports, keeping clientele and sales records
• Meeting regularly with sales team to discuss company, departmental, and team goals.

• Bachelor’s degree (or in process of obtaining) within the Business discipline of Marketing, Management or another related field
• Knowledge of multiple sales and marketing disciplines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Able to work 25-30+ hours a week (Monday - Friday)
