Sales Manager - Flooring Showroom
Base Salary: $75,000-$85,000
OTE: $120,000+
Variable Compensation: Based on Sales Performance
Experience: Sales or Retail Management Required
Industry: Flooring / Building Materials Experience Preferred
Position OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a flooring showroom team and drive sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and new business development.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys coaching sales professionals, developing customer relationships, and actively selling on the showroom floor
.
- Lead, coach, and develop the showroom sales team.
- Drive sales, gross profit, close rates, and overall showroom performance.
- Monitor open quotes, customer follow-up, margins, and sales opportunities.
- Train Sales Associates on consultative selling, prospecting, upselling, and closing.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching and performance reviews.
- Build relationships with customers, contractors, and trade professionals.
- Develop new business through networking, outreach, and outside sales activities.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Partner with operations and installation teams to deliver a strong customer experience.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and customer-ready showroom.
- Previous sales management or retail management experience required.
- Flooring, building materials, construction, or home improvement experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and hold a sales team accountable.
- Strong consultative selling and business-development skills.
- Experience managing sales goals, quotes, margins, and profitability.
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Flooring product and installation knowledge preferred.
- CRM, estimating, quoting, or flooring software experience is a plus.
- $75,000-$85,000 base salary.
- $120,000+ OTE.
- Variable compensation based on sales performance.
- $120,000+ earning potential.
- Take ownership of a showroom sales operation.
- Build and develop a high-performing sales team.
