You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour
Job Schedule- Tue: 01:00 PM - 08:30 PM
- Thur: 04:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Fri: 04:00 PM - 08:30 PM
- Sat: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and security‑related policies at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with post instructions.
Respond to incidents, access‑related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues through established communication channels when appropriate.
Document visitor activity, access exceptions, and security‑related incidents in required logs and/or reporting systems with attention to detail.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, lobbies, and perimeter access points as directed, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance and/or security‑related concerns.
CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
