Facilities Security Officer

Lee Sar is seeking a dependable, professional, and service-oriented Security Officer with high integrity to join our team in Southwest Florida. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, helping others, and maintaining a safe and secure environment in a mission-driven organization.

As a Security Officer, you will help protect associates, visitors, facilities, and assets through proactive patrols, emergency response, access control, and customer-focused security services across our operational facilities.

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols throughout the facility and perimeter
• Monitor access points and assist visitors, vendors, and associates
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, incidents, and safety concerns
• Support emergency preparedness, evacuations, and lockdown procedures
• Prepare detailed incident and activity reports
• Assist with de-escalation and conflict resolution situations
• Collaborate with leadership, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed
• Promote a safe, respectful, and security‑conscious workplace culture

• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high‑pressure situations

• Dependability, integrity, and teamwork
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and emergency staffing situations when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Florida Class D Security License required or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire
• Two years of security experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Basic computer proficiency including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Physical Requirements This role requires extensive walking throughout shifts, including indoor and outdoor patrols, stair climbing, and working in varying weather conditions.

Schedule:

Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency response situations.
