Trusted Agent

The Lee County Port Authority is now hiring a Trusted Agent to join our Airport Operations Team. In this role, you will be the primary gatekeeper for airport security and compliance, managing the badging, fingerprinting, and federal vetting process for all airport personnel while delivering exceptional customer service to our growing aviation community.

The anticipated starting hourly rate for the ideal candidate is $20.75.

• Perform frontline identification () credentialing functions, processing requests for all types of access badges for air carrier, federal, tenant, concessionaire, contractor, and Lee County Port Authority (LCPA) employees
• Process applicant fingerprints and submit biographical data for Security Threat Assessments (STAs) in accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security directives
• Maintain accurate, auditable security databases and manage access-control records
• Maintain absolute confidentiality and secure storage of extensive personal identifying information (PII) and security-sensitive documentation

• A valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire
• A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• A minimum of 1 year customer service experience
• Must successfully pass a criminal background screening, drug test, and meet the requirements to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, through the SIDA training process and TSA Security Threat Assessment prior to employment
• Complete Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) limited access training within three months of hire. To apply and obtain CJIS security training, you must be a United States citizen or have been a lawful resident of the United States for the past 10 consecutive years
