The Orkin Pro commits to safely and professionally providing the highest level of protection and service to customers on a designated service route. The career starts with in‑depth, award‑winning training that prepares with skills needed for daily route operations, scheduling, issue diagnosis, and treatment planning. With each customer, Orkin Pros work to understand problems and do the right thing to resolve them.
- Complete award‑winning training and gain skills to serve customers
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
- Follow route and daily operation schedule, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location
- Operate a company vehicle safely; maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
- Act with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
- Serve as a problem solver with empathy, listening to and understanding customer needs, and recommending efficient and innovative solutions
- Meet customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that provide peace of mind
- Inspect interior and exterior of customer property (we teach you how)
- Complete all required service‑related documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy
- Competitive earnings starting at $17–$20 per hour

Minimum requirements
- No experience required – we’ll train you to be a Pro
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days of employment (company‑paid)
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage route‑based assignments and interact with customers inside businesses and/or homes
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires OSHA‑compliant respirator
- Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
