Scaffold Construction Supervisor / Foreman 1

Design various types of scaffolds and order materials as required to maintain workflow. Perform all necessary documentation: delivery/pick‑up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA’s and scaffold inspection checklists. Foreman 1 must act as a mentor and coach to the Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their development and must work with tools from time to time.

• Located in the Bessemer, Alabama area.
• Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Bilingual, a plus.

• Safely and effectively supervise a crew or supervise and direct up to three Lead Carpenters.
• Good knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding.
• Good knowledge and understanding of various types of scaffolding material so that intended loads are not exceeded.

The physical demands of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

$21.38 – $26.72 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
