Heavy Equipment Operator

Extreme Demolition & Land Clearing, LLC, a Southwest Florida construction company, is seeking a Heavy Machine Operator to join our team at our Fort Myers, FL location. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, such as excavators and dozers, to complete various tasks, including moving soil and rocks. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machines in a safe and efficient manner and will be able to follow instructions from supervisors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Operate heavy equipment, such as excavators and dozers, to move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials
• Excavate rock, or other materials, around construction piles
• Oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and repair work on heavy equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
• Understand and follow instructions from supervisors
• Load and unload materials onto heavy machines such as excavators and dozers

• Ability to read and understand operating manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
• Heavy equipment maintenance experience required
• Must be able to life up to 50 pounds
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
