Responsibilities- Maintain, repair, install, and program conventional and addressable fire alarm, security, nurse call, intercom, and CCTV systems.
- Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meters, decibel meters, and communication devices.
- Perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, inside ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software, and operation manuals.
- Conduct inspections and installation activities for electronic fire systems.
- Remain available for overtime or overnight stays during busy project schedules.
- Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Three (3) years of experience in Fire Alarm or Integrated Security Systems maintenance.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Electrical installation experience.
- Excellent customer interaction skills.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑starter capable of working with minimum supervision.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair unaided by management.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record meeting company requirements.
- Capacity to obtain and retain required National, State, and Local licenses.
- Preferred:
- Four (4) years of experience in Fire Alarm or Integrated Security Systems maintenance.
Hourly rate: $21–$30, determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data. Competitive benefits package.
