Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Growing company looking for Carpenter with Millwork and Door Experience. Must have knowledge of prehung, door hardware and door installations knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a carpenter with specific expertise in millwork and doors.
• Ability to read technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using hand and power carpentry tools safely and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and construction safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training program.
• Experience working on both residential and commercial construction projects.
• Familiarity with advanced millwork machinery and door hardware installation.
• Certification in OSHA safety standards or equivalent safety training.
• Basic knowledge of finishing techniques such as staining, painting, and sealing wood surfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install millwork components such as moldings, trims, cabinetry, and custom woodwork with precision and care.
• Install, repair, and maintain various types of doors including interior, exterior, sliding, and specialty doors, ensuring proper fit, function, and finish.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately execute carpentry tasks according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with construction teams, including contractors and designers, to coordinate work schedules and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain and operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently while adhering to all workplace safety protocols.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Manage materials and supplies inventory to ensure availability and minimize waste during project execution.
