Computer Programmer Developer

Hours:

Monday – Friday (Four 10 hour days or Five 8 hour days) Role and Responsibilities

The Computer Programmer Developer will work in both design and development stages of software creation and help develop the ways that software functions and works. The Computer Programmer will act as a designer to consolidate disparate program functions into a unified whole. The Programmer also works with lower‑level programmers to map out various programming tasks and smaller functions, which are then combined into larger programs or new features for existing software.

They may gather requirements directly from an end user or from project managers and the Software Support and Development Director. The Programmer will typically plot out the various aspects of the automated tasks that will be necessary, usually using design documentation and flowcharts to illustrate the process.

• 3-5+ years programming experience.
• Applicant must have a strong background in IT business and must understand how large applications work, not just the user interface but the complete infrastructure, including database, interfaces, routing and business rules.
• Experience designing and developing application components.
• Experience testing and documenting software.
• Ability to write SQL.
• Ability to code with Java, JavaScript, PHP, Rust, C# or C/C++.
• Experience with Tyler Munis ERP solution is a plus.
• Ability to analyze requirements and transform them into technical designs.
• Upon request, must show practical experience in programming and coding.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
