Receiving Associate

Phase V Fulfillment provides 3PL order fulfillment services, specializing in ecommerce and direct-to-consumer merchants. Our platform integrates order management, inventory control, kitting, shipping, and real-time tracking into a single, streamlined process. With robust technology and multi-channel integrations—including major ecommerce platforms and carriers—we deliver the visibility and efficiency needed to scale modern fulfillment operations. We support a wide range of fulfillment needs, including warehousing, pick and pack, domestic and international shipping, FBA prep, and both B2B and direct-to-consumer fulfillment.

The Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing inbound shipments at Phase V Fulfillment's warehouse facility. This role ensures incoming inventory is properly received, inspected, logged into Ship Hero, and put away in accordance with warehouse standards. The Receiving Associate also supports broader warehouse operations through cross-functional tasks such as cycle counts, bin organization, and special projects as assigned.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Unload inbound shipments from trucks and containers safely and efficiently
  • Verify received quantities against packing slips, purchase orders, and ASNs
  • Inspect incoming products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues to the Assistant Warehouse Manager
  • Accurately log receiving transactions in Ship Hero, including item counts, lot numbers, and locations as required
  • Label, sort, and stage received inventory for putaway
  • Put away received inventory to designated bin locations in accordance with warehouse slotting standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and staging area
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks as assigned
  • Support bin organization and re-slotting initiatives
  • Participate in special projects, including inventory cleanup, bin-sizing changes, and seasonal volume preparation
  • Report any equipment issues, safety hazards, or facility concerns to leadership
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and material handling equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
