Position: Underground Offsider at Barminco

This entry-level position reports to the Underground Supervisor and involves assisting with daily operational targets. Key responsibilities include ensuring safety standards, supporting the Jumbo Operator in boring operations, and maintaining effective communication. You will work closely with experienced miners to gain valuable knowledge while contributing to productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety rules and procedures consistently

• Assist Jumbo Operator in installation and boring tasks

• Collect and deliver necessary materials timely

• Prepare faces for drilling and installation of ground support

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Previous underground mining experience preferred

• Valid Driver’s License; manual experience is an asset

• Strong planning and time management skills

• Ability to work in a physically demanding role

• Willingness to learn and cooperate with the team
