We are seeking an experienced and motivated Weatherization Team Leader to join our growing team. This leadership role is ideal for someone with experience in insulation, weatherization, home performance, construction, or related fields who enjoys managing projects, leading crews, and helping homeowners improve energy efficiency and comfort.

Position Summary

The Weatherization Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and performing residential weatherization projects, including insulation installation, air sealing, duct sealing, and other energy-efficiency improvements. This role leads field crews, ensures high-quality workmanship, maintains safety standards, and delivers exceptional customer service throughout each project.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise weatherization crews on residential and light commercial projects
  • Install and oversee the installation of blown-in insulation, air sealing, duct sealing, and other home performance improvements
  • Coordinate daily job assignments, schedules, and project completion timelines
  • Ensure all work is completed according to company standards, program requirements, and safety regulations
  • Conduct job site assessments and identify opportunities for energy-efficiency improvements
  • Train and mentor crew members on weatherization techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards
  • Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Operate and maintain insulation blowing equipment, power tools, and other job-related equipment
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding project scope, progress, and results
  • Maintain accurate job documentation, material usage records, and project reports
  • Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and safe throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist with HVAC-related and home performance projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in weatherization, insulation, home performance, HVAC, construction, or a related field required
  • Prior leadership, crew lead, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of insulation, air sealing, and energy-efficiency best practices
  • Ability to operate insulation blowing equipment and job-site tools safely
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to read work orders, project specifications, and job documentation
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
