Job Summary:
To teach and educate students according to the guidelines provided by the Alabama State Department of Education in the area of Pre‑K.
- Teach and educate pre‑kindergarten students in accordance with ALSDE guidelines.
- Develop instructional materials and lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with colleagues, staff, and parents to support student learning.
- Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Certified by the State of Alabama in the appropriate area.
- Must meet background clearance requirements.
- Experience working with pre‑kindergarten students is preferred.
- Full‑time position with all applicable state benefits including retirement and insurance.
- Start date:
8/1/2026.
