Overview
A Snapshot of Your Day. In the Engineering Development Program (EDP), you will experience a 12-month rotational program with three 4-month assignments in Siemens Energy. You will gain direct exposure to multiple product lines in the power generation industry through rotations in at least two different locations (Orlando, FL; Charlotte & Winston-Salem, NC; and Ft. Payne, AL). These rotations provide a well-rounded view of the career opportunities at Siemens Energy.
Customized training and projects will ensure you learn about some of the most technologically advanced power generation equipment on the market.
During the program, in addition to learning the technology and the company, you can develop life-long friendships with your fellow EDP colleagues and build a network that can benefit you throughout your career. After completion of the 12-month program, you will be placed in Orlando where you can further grow your engineering career. HowYou’ll Make An Impact
- Develop a deep understanding of the power industry and the challenges our customers and the industry face.
- Maintain an open, inclusive, and excited mindset while you experience 3 different rotations in engineering and manufacturing along different product lines during the development program.
- Attend events and networking meetings to form a large network within our company and its subsidiaries.
- Upon program graduation, become a vital part of one of the Siemens Energy engineering organizations, working in design, analysis, and maintenance of power generation equipment.
- Seeking proactive, driven, and caring individuals who want to join our engineering development program at Siemens Energy.
- By June 2026, you will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
Gas Services offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, along with steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
