DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Promotes the Company’s mission and values-based culture through providing an excellent product
- Safety:
Assist in monitoring safety practices and ensure compliance with company policies. - Support quality control efforts by identifying and reporting issues promptly.
- Productivity:
Ensure all hot jobs are identified and work is complete. - Conduct beginning of shift meeting and communication information to employees.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and report any shortages.
- Help maintain accurate documentation of shift activities and production metrics.
- Coordinate workflow and provide guidance to team members to maintain efficiency.
- Promote teamwork and a positive work environment throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other leads to relay updates and resolve issues.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Software
- Frequently walk, stand, climb up and climb down stairs, and use hands and fingers
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
Ability to assist in training operators and fill in where needed.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Reasoning AbilityMust have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills.
Other SkillsMust be able to read and interpret blueprints
Must have ability to pass and operate forklift
