A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Production Supervisor working 2nd Shift, Weekday nights, Mon.
-Thurs. (3:30pm to 2:00am), you will lead a team of hourly manufacturing employees in a safe, climate‑controlled environment focused on producing high‑quality generator components. Your day involves directing shift operations, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy’s safety and quality standards, monitoring production performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners in Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Supply Chain while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Your leadership directly influences safety outcomes, product quality, workflow efficiency, employee development, and overall customer satisfaction.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· L ead daily production operations to meet
Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People
objectives.
- Champion Siemens Energy’s
Zero Harm
culture through safety observations, incident investigations, and corrective actions. - Ensure adherence to manufacturing procedures, engineering requirements, and
first‑time quality
standards. - Monitor production schedules, allocate labor, and adjust resources to meet customer demand and KPI targets.
- Coach, develop, and support hourly employees through performance discussions, training, and engagement activities.
- Drive
continuous improvement
using Lean tools, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and workflow optimization.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
- 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in amanufacturing environment is preferred; the ability to lead production teams is also preferred.
- Strong ability to solve problems and make operational decisions is required; knowledge of manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate across departments, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Experience with
Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Root Cause Analysis is preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Officeand comfort using digital production systems.
