A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Manufacturing Specialist Level 3 - Certified Welder, you will work in a safe, climate-controlled environment alongside teammates to produce precision parts for large generators. Your day involves interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, performing certified welding, and completing hands-on fabrication tasks that support high-quality manufacturing. You’ll operate machinery, use a variety of hand tools, troubleshoot welding issues, and ensure each part meets engineering and quality standards.

You will also contribute to maintaining a clean, organized workspace and support Siemens Energy’s commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

This is Weekend Days 3rd Shift role from 5AM-5:30PM.

  • Inspect parts and welded components to ensure they meet quality and engineering requirements.
  • Operate machinery—including setup and adjustments—and use hand tools for forming, bending, punching, grinding, cutting, brazing, buffing, and welding.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, engineering specifications, and work packages to determine required operations.
  • Use testing, electrical, and measurement equipment to verify part accuracy and troubleshoot welding issues such as undercut, porosity, or lack of fusion.
  • Apply materials, solutions, and curing processes (including oven use) according to instructions and support safe lifting and transport of parts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow Siemens Energy policies, procedures, and safety standards.
