Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, work orders, operating instructions, and inventory documents.
  • Basic computer skills required, including data entry and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to learn warehouse software and inventory tracking systems.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 months of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, inventory control, shipping and receiving, or material handling environment.
  • Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing, and moving materials preferred.
  • Forklift, cherry picker, or warehouse equipment experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and inventory calculations.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to workplace safety and inventory accuracy.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment after certification.
Job Duties
  • Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming products, tools, equipment, and inventory materials.
  • Verify shipments against packing slips and invoices and report discrepancies or damage.
  • Sort, label, stock, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Issue tools, equipment, and supplies to employees while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Enter inventory transactions into warehouse management systems and track inventory levels.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and replenishment activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Inspect tools and equipment for wear or damage and coordinate repairs when necessary.
  • Deliver materials and equipment to work areas as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while supporting daily operations.

What You Will Do

As a Storeroom Attendant you will receive, move, stage, load, unload, organize, and transport materials throughout warehouse or manufacturing operations. You will verify inventory, maintain accurate product locations, prepare materials for production or shipment, assist with inventory control, and help ensure safe, efficient movement of products while following established workplace procedures.
