Clerical Assistant I

Are you a highly organized, customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented Clerical Assistant I to provide essential administrative and customer service support for our Selection Center operations.

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for students, employees, and community members, assisting with scheduling, testing administration, fingerprinting services, records management, inventory control, and general office operations.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The qualifications and skill requirements of this position include

* Associate's degree from an accredited institution or three (3) years of directly related clerical office experience;

* Proven work experience in all clerical duties including telephone etiquette;

* Ability to work with employees and a diverse student population in a busy setting;

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

* Good interpersonal and organizational skills;

* Ability to prioritize tasks with careful attention to detail;

* Ability to work with records in a timely, efficient, and confidential manner;

* Proven experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat based applications to include the ability to operate a variety of office machines;

* Ability to respond appropriately to the needs of College personnel, students and the general public;

* Active Florida Notary Public preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential job functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

* Providing general clerical assistance to the Selection Center Staff;

* Greeting clients;

* Providing services pursuant to client need.

* Providing general information regarding the Selection Center services to employees, students, and community members;

* Answering telephones;

* Purchasing NFSI and Integrity Tests from vendor and maintaining appropriate inventories;
