JOB SUMMARY:

Under general direction, this position is responsible for delivering and managing a comprehensive Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) educational program. Key responsibilities include providing lecture and laboratory instruction across core clinical disciplines such as Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Phlebotomy; designing and implementing curriculum; and creating educational pathways that support student credentialing and employment outcomes. The role also involves establishing program goals and standards, leading accreditation efforts, recruiting and supporting students, and coordinating clinical instruction experiences.

In addition, the position contributes to institutional effectiveness through participation in college committees and engagement with the broader community..

SPECIFIC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Design, develop, and implement the Medical Laboratory Technology program and associated curriculum.

* Collaborate with faculty and staff across the Health Sciences Division to support program development and instructional delivery.

* Coordinate and maintain clinical internship placements with local hospital laboratories and clinical sites.

* Deliver effective instruction in Medical Laboratory Technology theory, laboratory skills, and related coursework.

* Prepare and maintain required documentation to meet accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
