JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in marketing and business-related courses while supporting student success, academic excellence, workforce development, and community engagement across the College's service district. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching, the ability to integrate current industry practices into the classroom, and a commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

SPECIFIC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



The specific duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Teaching a variety of undergraduate marketing and business courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats with a minimum instructional load of 36 semester hours annually.
  • Prepare course syllabi, instructional materials, assessments, and learning activities aligned with institutional and accreditation standards.
  • Maintain and manage course content through the College's learning management system.
  • Evaluate student performance, maintain accurate records, and submit grades in a timely manner.
  • Maintain regularly scheduled office hours and provide academic advising and mentoring to students.
  • Incorporate innovative instructional technologies and experiential learning opportunities into coursework.
  • Support student retention, persistence, and program completion initiatives.
  • Participate in curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement activities.
