JOB SUMMARY:

Under general direction, the instructor delivers one or more Electrical or Industrial apprenticeship training courses using various instructional methods, including in-person, remote, hybrid, and online formats. Supports student learning by providing academic assistance, promoting participation in required On-The-Job Training, and tracking student progress. Responsibilities also include evaluating student performance, maintaining accurate academic records, and monitoring attendance to foster student success and program completion.

SPECIFIC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver course content in accordance with the approved course outline and syllabus to ensure students are adequately prepared for subsequent courses and program requirements.
  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback to students regarding academic and practical performance.
  • Meet all assigned classes punctually and demonstrate enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Develop and implement instructional activities that support effective learning and student engagement.
  • Plan, design, and conduct the required minimum number of laboratory exercises each semester.
  • Prepare and submit all required documentation, including class rosters, grade books, grade reports, and final examinations.
