Description:

The role involves providing treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema.

The unit has 437 beds and is staffed by approximately 60 professionals, including both permanent and per diem staff.

Typical patient ratios are approximately 44-46 procedures per shift.

Equipment used includes Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, Hamilton ventilators, V60, Astral CPAP & BIPAP machines, ABGs, and CPT.

Candidates with trauma experience and previous Meditech experience are preferred.

The ideal candidate will be a team player, critical thinker, and focused on patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The department emphasizes active collaboration with physicians and a disciplined approach to care.

Dress code requires RRTs to wear light grey uniforms.

The department has received accolades such as Joint Commission accreditation and has been recognized for excellence in stroke care and cardiac treatment.
