Job Summary and Qualifications

One of the most beneficial aspects of working on Inpatient Rehabilitation is being able to see the progression of our patients. Were with our patients for over 12 days from start to finish of their journey and the last step before they return to their lives. While many specialties focus on a single medical need of a patient - such as the patients cardiac function or renal function - we take a comprehensive view, considering both the patients medical needs and their functional needs.

We ask questions such as, How many stairs do you have in your home? Is your bedroom on the first floor or the second floor? Who cooks your meals, who does your laundry? Being able to have a window in our patients lives and fully understand the impact were making is very special."
