Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Surgery

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

• Provide expert nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients throughout their surgical journey
• Monitor vital signs and patient status during pre-operative and post-operative phases
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure seamless procedures
• Educate patients and families about recovery expectations and care instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with the broader care team

• Active RN license in Florida or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular surgery nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

• Cardiovascular surgery protocols and procedures
• Pre and post-operative patient care
• Telemetry monitoring
• Patient education and family communication
• Electronic medical records documentation
