Electrical Punch Technician
An Electrical Punch Technician is responsible for addressing and correcting electrical deficiencies identified during the final stages of a construction project. This involves troubleshooting electrical systems, repairing or replacing faulty components, and ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant codes and standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review electrical punch lists to identify and prioritize issues.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems to diagnose problems accurately.
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as outlets, switches, fixtures, and wiring.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Adhere to electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
- Coordinate with project managers and other tradespeople as needed.
- Assist with final inspections and obtaining electrical permits.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in electrical construction or maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to pass a drug test.
