JOB SUMMARY:
Under general administrative supervision, this position serves as an essential member of the Student Life team at Indian River State College. The role provides comprehensive case management, early intervention, and coordinated care for students experiencing personal, emotional, behavioral, academic, or wellness-related concerns. Promotes student well-being, persistence, and success through individualized support, cross-campus collaboration, and proactive outreach. The position ensures timely, policy-informed responses to student needs and maintains accurate, confidential documentation to support holistic student care.
SPECIFIC
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Caseload
* Manage a comprehensive caseload of students presenting wellness, personal, and behavioral concerns at Indian River State College. Conduct intake meetings, follow-up meetings, coordinate resources, and ongoing check-ins to evaluate student needs and progress. Develop individualized support plans that promote coping skills, behavioral functioning, community connection, and overall well-being. Assist students experiencing housing instability, food insecurity, financial hardship, transportation challenges, family concerns, health issues, and mental health concerns.
Coordinate referrals to institutional and community resources, including counseling, health services, disability services, academic support, financial wellness, and basic needs assistance. Maintain detailed, confidential case records in Maxient or other approved…
